Yeah. Shotgun chambers have holes on all sides. You put wet pearlite or coir in the bottom. Mine was a messy pain in the ass but it worked ok. I've had better success with less effort using water tubs with some gaps/holes for air exchange.

its all about mushroom enviorment ask ur self where do mushrooms grow caves or open feilds :shrug: when fruiting mushrooms u kinda have to mock nature get it as close as u can :thumbup:

I've got a remedy for the perlite spilling. Water will be dripping some, but that's what trays are for.

idk what u guys are talking about perlite wasnt that big of deal are u sure u had 1/4 inch holes for that shit to fall out everywhere ya u put something under the tub and when u rehydrate it u just let it lit for a few hours :shrug: it dont make big messes vacume it up no big deal

Full disclosure - I knew about the SFC from some years back when I did my first Cubensis grow (pf tek), but water tubs were new to me until a few days ago. Had started poking holes by then, so I thought feck it
