Yeah. Shotgun chambers have holes on all sides. You put wet pearlite or coir in the bottom. Mine was a messy pain in the ass but it worked ok. I've had better success with less effort using water tubs with some gaps/holes for air exchange.

Indeed. And now I achieve that without water and pearlite getting everywhere. šŸ˜†

Yes, you have. You all have. The good grows and failures alike.
You know what I've seen?
I've seen you give a lot of discouraging, often outdated and usually unclear replies to people looking for real information and little bit of community.
Maybe keep all that ego to yourself. If answering questions here is beneath you, maybe just don't.

Be well.

I've got a remedy for the perlite spilling. Water will be dripping some, but that's what trays are for.

Full disclosure - I knew about the SFC from some years back when I did my first Cubensis grow (pf tek), but water tubs were new to me until a few days ago. Had started poking holes by then, so I thought feck it

Sgfc work just fine, nothing wrong with using what you got. You did a great job on that BTW. Nice and even.
