Seriously, how much attention are you paying to what D.O.G.E. is actually doing?

First of all, they're not targeting citizens, they are only targeting federal employees.

Second of all, federal employees have an obligation to be accountable to the people. That fact D.O.G.E. even has to exist temporarily to fix this problem show just how corrupt D.C. has become.

Thirdly, Elon Musk is being 100% transparent about what D.O.G.E. is uncovering, and posting about it all the time so that the community can fact-check it. (Even Grok has caught Elon making mistakes, so the community notes on X are very good. We expect mistakes to be made, and then corrected.) Conversely, I don't think Gates has a transparent bone in his body.


Why are some people so opposed to our government being transparent and accountable to the people about how our taxes are spent? That's literally all that's happening, is we are finally finding out, and it's sending shockwaves and panic down D.C.

This has nothing to do with the privacy of citizens being invaded.
