i don't think the link will take anyone directly there (frames) .. which jars? I'm assuming the 1/2 pints- looks like they have Ball 1/2 pts wide & regular mouth, which are both fine. But why buy online? Shipping was +7$, more than the price for a case of jars from them. Did you check ACE Hardware (you can get *everything* you need at ACE)? Someone also just said something about Wal-Mart too. Canning season's starting; supermarkets may carry them as well. Gluck :)

Wally-Mart is cheap jar city. Wide mouth pints or 1/2 pints[tapered] $7.98/doz, 1/2pt tapered regular mouth $6.89. Yes you'll pay a buck for tax but its way cheaper than the 110% "shipping" tax. And yes, ACE hardware is also a great source for canning stuff, just a bit more $$ than wally-mart unless they have something on sale.

i have seen tons of canning jars around lately. At k-mart, albertsons supermarket, target too I think. K-mart has 1/2 pint, pint and quart jars all for under $8.00 each dozen.

Albertson's has every type of canning jar under the sun, and I'm pretty sure that nearly everyone has an Albertson's by now...I bought the(apparently) elusive Kerr wide mouths there...7.89/12.

and use 1/2 pts...water damage is too common with pts for my suiting.
