Quart jars in UK?

Hey, Does anyone know where I can find those pesky quart canning jars in the UK? They don't need to have any particular mouth size, just two-piece lids so I can fit a filter disc. I'm around London if that helps. Please reply, I have sourced all my supplies except for those damn jars. People in the UK must can stuff, so where do they go?? Peace.

tescos, jam (preserve section) you will see em, red and white lids mine were, heard ppl getting them in other supermarkets (safeway asda) in the same section not sure what you meant by just two-piece lids so I can fit a filter disc. two piece lids? well teh above are just normal jars, but with the right 'head' shoulder thing, being bigger than jar etc? help that helps anyway -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- I've been wallowing in my own confused, insecure dellusionsEdited by aenima on 08/01/01 12:06 PM.

What I need are proper canning jars, with a ring part on the lid for use in a rye tek. Not these wide-mouth jars for PF cakes. Thanks for trying though
