The medical industry supports the federal government adding sugar to milk.

The medical industry has killed many people.  Let's be honest.

It is well established that saturated fatty acids increase low-density lipoprotein cholesterol. LDL is a strong risk factor for cardiovascular disease.

100% false

There's a lot of scientific evidence the more important factor predicting heart disease risk is the triglyceride/HDL ratio.  The crappy Western diet often results in high triglyceride levels.  People who limit or eliminate plant based foods usually have low triglyceride levels, and remain quite healthy with "high" LDL levels.  Of course "high" implies bad, which is plain wrong.  If 10 "medical experts" told me I should take a statin, I'd tell them all to go to hell.  Don't let these people fool you.  Your life depends on it.

Many people remain quite healthy with so called "high" HDL levels.

The term "high LDL" is in itself propaganda, as it implies bad.

You are picking one item and attacking it out of context. If you put it back in the context which includes DIET, lifestyle and genetics, then you realize you are just arguing with yourself.
Its true that a lot of food inhibit absorbtion of vital nutrients, which is why the Carnivore Diet is so successful.

I don't want to keep going back and forth about this.

You won.

If anyone needs nutritional advice, go to RJ Tubs. (sarcasm)

I'll just keep spreading my "misinformation" to my real patients.

Over 90 million people in the United States are prescribed statins.

Nearly a 200% increase since 2009 . . .  as health continues to get worse.

Unrefined sugar used to be prescribed as a medicine, including against anemia.

Raw milk and colostrum and their fermented products are said to have medicinal properties.

I feel bad for animals, stuff them silly on natural foods, and they are highly productive.

If you want to be spritually harmless, plants, inanimate objects, water, etc, can all have emotions and energies unto themselves, which might be inhaled by a breatharian. You have to arrive at a point where it fulfills a purpose.

Couple points.

The idea that plant foods can't sustain you through hard work is, via my experience, blatantly false.

Food science functions in such a way that long term studies are seriously difficult.  It keeps changing and you can find new info all the time.

Third, pretty sure our pre civilization ancestors ate way more plants than meat.

Fourth, I'm vegetarian.  If you don't want to be one, don't be one.  I know that there are preachy vegans/vegetarians, but preachy meat eaters are definitely out there too.  Can we all try not to be dicks?

Yeah, :whathesaid:

Meat isn’t unhealthy if eaten with a balanced diet and exercise and everything else. Healthy lifestyle… whatever makes you happy.

And everyone is different.

But yeah, I would guess that before we started farming animals our diets may have consisted of more plant based foods, but still the occasional meat. Hunter-gatherer, goes hand in hand.

I would like to try to cut down the amount of meat I eat, ideally. I’ve tried multiple times but it’s difficult for me to stick to, I revert to old habits because everyone around me eats so much meat.

I just spent the afternoon taking stock of my pork inventory and organizing it in the freezer. It was surreal sorting out a box of hearts and livers.

I popped some popcorn in bacon fat from my pigs and it was perfect.

Eat more local meat.

No offense intended,  struck me as funny.

Lol it comes with the territory. I now have to clarify if I'm "cranking my hog" personally or profesionally.

Yall probably ain’t ready for this, but meat isn’t just healthy, it’s probably the healthiest food we eat. Our stomachs are designed primarily to digest meat. Look up the acidity of the stomach acids herbivores, carnivores, omnivores, and then specifically human beings.

Tons of people go carnivore and have tons of disorders just disappear. The types of foods we’re supposed to eat is very very narrow, and most of a modern diet isn’t part of it.

Meat, eggs, and forage-able shit to keep you going between kills. That’s what we’re supposed to be eating.

I have a vested interest in people eating meat.

The farmer’s market near me has local pork and it makes the pork from the grocery store look fake. The stuff I used to get from them was purple and tasted more like beef. They haven’t been past few times I’ve gone and it bums me out. I’d get their shoulder roasts and steaks and man I’m telling you it’s night and day difference.
