Fan/Des. Combo VS. Low Heat Dehydrator

I did a search into past posts concerning different drying methods.

In some, people say using a Fan for 24-48 hours, then using desiccant is the BEST way to go.
Other posts said using a Dehydrator (One with an adjustable temp, set low to say 95 degrees) is quick and works Great.
People in favor of the fan/des method suggest that using heat for an extended period of time will affect potency.

So here is my Question. Which method do you prefer and why. Is either way better?

I've used both and a dehydrator is the best by far...for one thing nothing to build, more room for shrooms, lot more stealthy and much faster...I'm sure theres more that I'm just not thinking of right now
