WMDs and Morality
    #2873270 -

The USA is not against WMDs, but only others having them. Seems we have no moral issues about the potential to destroy millions of (other) people with a single act. Many of the most lethal weapons were developed here and research still continues. Must be our (generally) Christian-upbringing. Love (and nukes) conquers all.

Christ stated clearly: "He who lives by the sword, shall die by the sword." Too bad our right-wing Christian brethren are unable to either read or comprehend this timely message from their own holy book.

As long as they are deemed allies. The USA supplied WMD to Saddam. Now France is a borderline ally. If they shifted further away, do you think we would still be glad they are a nuclear power?

Remember, it is ALL ABOUT US, not about any ethical stance.

If we didn't, we'd use them all the time.

Good. The better to keep others at bay. The more destructive power we can hold over others heads, the better.

Keep the love for your fellow man. I'll take the nukes.

No such person. Besides, I doubt everyone who lives by the sword, dies by one.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. Silly fella. If that was the case we'd have used them more than twice around 60 years ago.

Let me know when we use another.

Notice he didn't say "we have no moral issues with using nuclear weapons"? Potential is different than action
