Clear. Concise. Well put together, and obviously well thought out. The nihilist in me says not to spoon feed `em so much, but the smarter half appreciates your devotion to getting good info out to the masses.
Much more than I've ever contributed here.
Well done.
What's up with P9 taking his video down? Best. Ending. Ever.

Comments and suggests welcome. See a spelling or grammar mistake, please let me know.
FWIW and since you asked...
You used the word "breath" when I think you meant to type "breathe" in the section about spawn.
You might want to add the ending parenthesis to, "(tiny water droplets that naturally form on the surface of the mycelium (myc)".
I think the rules on this are more lax nowadays, so either of these would work:
(tiny water droplets that naturally form on the surface of the mycelium (myc))
or
(tiny water droplets that naturally form on the surface of the mycelium [myc])
It is customary to have an ending parenthesis for each starting one.

I just wanted to thank you for this write up. It makes me feel a little better to ask some questions in the future. If I would have done that on my first attempt I would probably be harvesting at least something instead of looking at a pile of trash. Aggravating to do the reading, investing in equipment, following the teks an still fail miserably.
Maybe I can get somebody to hold my hand next time.

perro said: Great thread.
I first found the shroomery early 2000's and helped me a lot thru my first PF Tek cakes.
Now I'm back into the hobby, for the love of mushrooms in general and how fun is too grow then. I must confess my first grow after many years have been MS directly to grain, I know, and got enough mushrooms for my own consumption for a long time but now I want to get into agar to learn and enjoy the process more than for the final result that I would probably end giving away to friends or just storing to trade in a apocalypse scenario.
just wanted to inform you that it is now legal to ship LC to most of the states in the US and several of our sponsors are now carrying a decent inventory. Its a helluva lot safer than using MSS and honestly, costs roughly the same.
Good luck thanks for reading.
Thanks, I'm in Europe, I know some vendors sell LC syringes but as I have the tubs still running y will try to clone a fruit and as I bought way too many spore syringes I'll try also to grow an clean some mycelium from there. The good thing is that I'm not in a hurry at all. Maybe got lucky with the spores, the vendor is a long time Sponsor from Austria, but my jars were clean enough to give me a decent yield and still growing some fruits for the cloning project.
I have doubs about how many Petri dishes should I prepare, I'll probably try with a couple for tissue cloning and a couple for ms. But really don't know how many transfers will take from there.

A friend and I are discussing refining our techniques after a run of problems. My mission coming here tonight was to reset me thinking to current state of the art, and you so thoughtfully condensed all that to one place. Thinking grateful thoughts towards you as the PC chuckles away in the kitchen.
