Hey ppl, umm.. I posted lastnight about my small shrooms, and I have harvested more today, here are the pictures of those and ask if they look fine to eat to everyone else..
This is the first mushroom to break its veil, so I picked it. its dry now though.
These are the other mushrooms that broke the veil this morning, they are bruising bad, but look OK to me?
These are some really small ones that broke their veils, so I just picked them too.
They are bruising REALLY bad, hope thats OK eh?
I picked these mushrooms about.... 10 min ago, they also broke their veils?
Here is my whole harvest... They are Pink Buffalo's, they are small, but I am working on a new way to get filtered air into the container.. Its small, not like others I have seen, but the fact that remains is that I grew them! YEAH!!! TRIP diz weekend!!! hehe
The reason some are more blue (black looking due to the webcam) is because I picked them at different times. Let me know if anyone thinks they will be good or anyway I can improve their size.. Since they are small, will it effect the potency?

Everything looks pink to me.. I hope your camera is just set for some weird sepia tone or something (check the software color correction settings).. if they are that potent that me just looking at a pic of them makes me see pink hell yeah I'd eat them!!! btw, they look fine to me, as long as there isnt any nasty bacteria or slime on them that I can't see in the pic they should be alright.. I mean they look horrible and you should drop them in the mail and mail them to me and I'll take care of them for you

hahaha, I'll be sure and do that! Thanks guys, and everyone that helped, that was just from one BRF cake, and I have another Ecuador cake about to be harvested in about two days, they are looking better (more taller) then these... ALso, a buddy of mine is growing EQ's but cased his, he is using the Shroom Wizard's Grow Guide, he told me to come and look see if I seen any contamination (since I have the net and he dont, and I see ALOT of pictures on here) but that still does not make me a know it all? hehe, I just wanna help out. I went to his house, and seen blue, and parts of it was looking kinda dead, and asked if he sterilized his casing mix and he said NO, that the tek said it did not need it.. I was like whaaa? I read it and sure enough, it said "Casing: In this phase of the process we will be going over how to introduce the mature mycelium to soil in preperation for fruiting. It is a very easy process and the sterility is not of great importace anymore because the mycelium in your jars is mature at this point and is fairly strong and capable of fighting off most invading spores and bacteria on its own." So I was like you better let me post that to see if anyone else would eat the mushrooms or not.. The shrooms growing from it looked GREAT, very LONG and SKINNY, here are the pictures of those..

Would ya eat these? The casing is dead now, the harvested these two and I told him he needed to sterilize his casing mix, and he dumped them out. I did not see any green mold, but some was cut out, where the two shrooms grew, it looked very healthy, but he dumped it all anyways to start over and sterilize his casing mix this time.
About my cam, its a webcam, an older Intel one. I have screwed with the color and that is about as good as I can do... hehe sorry ppl..

go to the grow/find section on the front page here, and either print out some casing yeks, or invite your buddy over and let him read it. the shroomery has a lot better casing teks. lol their is gonna be another post about me on the SW guestbook, i can feel it coming lmfao

yep, that what I will do, the reason I printed him the Shroom Wizards Grow Guide, was becuase he told me he wanted to case them instead of making cakes (as I was), also he had no knowledge of anything, so I felt the Shroom Wizards tek was pretty complete to doing that. I ordered some 50/50+ lime, Oyster Shells, and moss casings for us to use, and also some Worm poo... LoL hope that will give us a better flush. Also, we had no trouble with BRF/VERM jars, they seem to have worked out good. We just started 12 more jars tonight, boiled them, and used "FIlter Disks" instead of the jar lids. I wonder if its OK to just inject the spores through the top of the filter disk or if the needle is to large and will leave a big enough hole for contaim to enter in? Anyone know the answer to this? 16GA & 18GA needles... thanks!!
