is there anyway to improve on this guide? maybe different substrate or layering materials ? etc.. ???


also :: can you really keep the spores in an index card w/out refrigerating them?

the links doesn't specifically state improvements over the guide posted above.

i'm not wondering about better teks. I like the simplicity of the tek above. Just wondering if little improvements could be made here & there ??

YES, but also keep the folded index card inside of a ziplock, it's much cleaner.

If someone claims such things(from http://shroomwizard.com/faq.html ):

4.) What is the expected harvest/yield growing with this method?

Answer) If all goes well, the expected harvest/yield should be equal weight in dried shrooms as to the amount of dried flour used. Meaning; If someone makes enough substrate jars to use one pound of flour (18 half pint jars), their expected harvest/yield would be one pound of dried shrooms or ten pounds fresh picked (since mushrooms are 90% water).

then he can?t be taken seriously.
