Wouldn't paying the near 800 million count as an admission of guilt? Innocent people dont usually pay off their accusers

As I said, guilt has nothing to do with it.  Guilt was never on the table even if they went to trial.  No jury could find them guilty.

Paying an 800 million settlement is a strong indicator of liability, yes.  It can be taken as an admission of liability, to an extent.  Technically, it's and admission that they would lose at trial, but that's close enough.

there is the legal position.

and then there is the public view and real position.


in the legal position they get to continue on as if nothing really happened, only paying the agreed upon penalty.

in reality, everyone got to see that they lied, it was stated clearly in the deposition tapes and acknowledged in the press conference.... they lied they knew they lied and the world now knows that they knew they lied. on top of that they paid a large enough settlement that if they keep doing it, it will run them out of business so maybe they will think twice before doing so again.

even of further interest theres another lawsuit behind this one... and they can use the depositions from this one and take their own as well.

Fox news is a hero. I don't watch it and know a whole lot about it other than it plays on the TV's in every single government building where government employees congregate in my liberal state.

But they are triggering the libs and thus are heroes.

im of the opinion that if we are just going to have a choice between 2 very old and unqualified people for president again, that atleast one of those old and unqualified individuals should be ozzy osborne it would be much more entertaining.

It's all very clear now. The fact that Trump never met his sexual assault accuser must be the reason why his defense team let the case go to the jury without presenting any defense.

The jury took less than 3 hours of deliberations to rule against Trump, and that is expected to encourage lots more civil actions.

Trump has the worst lawyers.
Trump's lawyers have the worst client.
Both.
