I shall confess my sins to thee..

I browse reddit shroom subs and make fun of newbies trying to invent their own teks when they inadvertently fail and contam out.

I don't clean my SAB as regularly as I should. There's still bits and pieces of coir/verm from two s2b's ago in there, but as long as my dumb luck holds up and my plates won't contam out I probably won't change that.

I don't know what to do with so many mushies so I've started just gifting them out by the ounce. They cost next to nothing to grow, and still have kilos upon kilos of rye left and I barely used up half of my first bag. Tis has reached a point where all my friends have the same issue now. Please help lol

I invested in a nice set of glass petris because I thought pouring plates was hard. Turns out no-pour is way more complicated and pouring is easy as shit.

I steal parafilm at work.

I confess... After designing my own laminar flowhood i've also become obsessed about a experiemental design that will most likely be a.. Blowhood. :laugh2:
I'll propably be posting a failure thread when i finally get to test it. For your enjoyment.
If it works with filtration efficiency of 1 micron... Would you be mad if i patented it and showe it up Mycowillys nose?

Seems like 99% of people in shroomery mushcult use the Bucket Tek. I do not and for saying this they call me arrogant cause i dont have pictures of my own mushrooms here. The mycoforum of my country just got their proof of shroomerys hostility. I do like it here though becaus of the agar. The archives are valuable.

Lmao I knew someone was going to comment on that.

It's big enough to comfortably do so, and it raised my success rate to over 90%. Never touch a running system or something like that. :lol:

S2B in a SAB is definitely overkill, and I honestly doubt that it's what increased your "success rate".
but hey, it's your preference ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

if spawning in open air means sneezing and spitting in the mix, or doing it in a badly contaminated basement, well, then a SAB might be a protective workaround.

Do you harvest in a SAB aswell?

good choice. clean spawn and a proper technique are key . (put a mask and gloves if you want, i personally don't)

I just set the timer for 100 minutes to PC 13 pints of fish I'm canning and at that very moment I realized I could have put 3 pints of no prep millet in there as well. DOH!

It seems I'm in a bit of a pickle.. My motivation for growing cubes is to microdose. Just harvested the 1st flush of my first shoebox and ended up with 18g of dried Mazatapecs. This amount alone would suffice for like 6 months :smile:

I have 2 more sb's spawned, 6 jars colonizing and 8 plates almost ready to be put to grain. Didn't quite think this through... :rolleyes:
