Liquid culture???

Hey.... I was wondering about liquid culture.. would it not be possible to fill up a bottle with liquid nutrients, innoculate that with spores and later just inject large quantities of liquid culture into subsztrate cakes... and... would it not be possible to store live mycelium this way? or would it die after some weeks?

i think its the karo tek. i start a new culture after i make syringes out of the liquid mycelium
