Which guitar?

Hey guys,

i am gonna get an electric guitar (my first one, woo hoo!), but i am not exactly sure what to look for in a guitar. my limits at ?300-?350. i want to order through the net, cos i have seen some nice prices, but i am not sure if i should trust the site or not, it looks quite good:

My friend told me that ESP's are probably the best to buy. Could anyone guide me further, as to help me decide which make/model i should buy. I am not sure what to look for in a guitar, can anyone here guide me. if it helps, i like the style hendrix plays in, so thats the kinda style id like (i dunno if all guitars sound like eachother, im really lost)

any advice would be really helpful,

they have good prices, and awesome selection.

if you want a hendrix sound get a nice fender stratocaster, and a marshall amp, and a nice fuzz / ocatavia pedal.

id say the all around best guitar on earth is a les paul, but thats just my opinion.

never buy a guitar unless you hold it in your hands first and play it.

I love the sound of Les Paul... and I think most people will agree that Les Paul is the best guitar.  I would buy it, if it wasnt for the price and the way it looked :tongue:
Get a fender stratocaster :thumbup:
Or the ESP F50

i forgot about that, thanx!

I think i will try to look in some music shops in my area/second hand instruments, cos i suddenly get the feeling that i can't trust to spend that much cash on websites :x

i wouldnt get a esp...definatly get a fender or a gibson..prob a fender

i got my fender strat for like 300. fenders always a safe way to go. very nice

fenders are always a good place to start out when learning to play the guitar... good sound , decent prices..

i personally like playin on either ilbanez or les paul though

im sure a fender wouldn't be made out of particle board if its not a good material, rite?
