Weilii
    #2799967 - 06/16/04 05:16 PM (19 years, 9 months ago)

Well if nobody finds any after this rain, They most likely won't be out until fall. Seems like every year the season gets worse and worse. People find less and less of course their are exceptions. This is not a bitch fest, They just get me excited. We should have a contest who will find them first.

LK would have to be excluded though. (Just Kidding) Maybe this will summon him or something. He always had the most interesting posts when he was active.

I talked to LK on the phone today and he said he's found 2 weilii since spring. They were growing in the woods too, not lawns. Just a shitty preseson-season I guess. I'm supposed to go hunting for chanterelles with him soon so perhaps he'll check some of his weilii patches.

It just added another dimension for the Georgia scene. I hope it works out. Out of curiosity what is the status of his new species?

I haven't looked for his new species at all this year. We're going to be picking Chanterelles in the area so we'll be sure to look for the new species.

As far as the "status" of getting his new species classified I'll have to ask him.
