If we're all going to keep getting it, vaccinated or otherwise, why fight it? We're long past the point of containing it. Allowing a milder and more virulent strain to mutate and outcompete the current strains is our best way forward, at this point.


Because we have a lot of people who still have no immunity to covid, and when they get it about 1 in 150 will die because they don’t have immunity. 1 in 30 will end up in the hospital. These people have to be vaccinated. There are still too many of them and they will be responsible for continued preventable deaths and morbidly, and clog up our hospitals. When everybody has immunity we can go back to a normal life. I don’t give a flying fuck about their personal freedom, because their poor choices are having a severe detrimental effect on everyone else. Some of these people are generally too ignorant or too brainwashed to understand the problem. We just have to make them do it. As we have always done when we have vaccines to prevent mass casualty.

Certain immunity for covid doesn't exist yet. It scientifically does not exist since some people can be immune with antibodies and others aren't. People with covid shots are still carrying and spreading covid. You know that right?

No offense, but when it comes to the biology, you have no idea  what you’re taking about. Your posts contain almost no accurate information.

None taken because I never made any biology comments... so not sure what you're talking about :rofl:

You mean how I pointed out how there's nothing "new and scary" about how people are dying because of basic immune function understanding? Or how antibodies work? I know what the fuck I'm talking about. The covid shot antibodies don't last, maybe six months if you're lucky. I actually can't wait to do my antibody test again after 6 months to see how long the shots last for me.

Why should I have to explain that. I was making it simple for you dude. You're the one calling it a vaccine when it's factually and evidently not one. I don't recall needing an hpv vaccine every year more than once for example. You know what does, a flu shot. Interesting stuff..

Are you suggesting that it isn't necessary to understand the biology behind vaccine technology in order to fully and genuinely appreciate its potential? Because as much as I would love for that to be the case, it kinda seems like it isn't. I can't say I know anyone who can spit a 60 second primer on how the thymus and spleen interact to produce innate and acquired immunity off the dome who doesn't think it is a good idea, both for each person and for society as a whole, to get these vaccines.


I also got recently sick for a short period of time (shivers and body aches and cough for 12 hours) after being vaccinated. Many of my patients are vaccinated (though I can't think of a single one who has received the booster). The ones who are vaccinated fare far better on average than the ones who are not. The damage of COVID is not measured simply in terms of how bad your subjective experience of being sick is. A lot of organ damage can occur from viral infection without you ever knowing it. The amount of the virus replicating in your body directly correlates with the potential for chronic health problems resulting from organ damage. The amount of the virus replicating in your body also correlates with the amount of antibodies. Many people- because they are immunosuppressed for a variety of reasons from diabetes to use of steroids to history of splenectomy- don't respond as well to the vaccine as others in terms of antibody production. Those people, sick as they may get with what few vaccine induced antibodies they managed to produce, would invariably have gotten a worse infection sans vaccination.  Still more problematic is the fact that much of the vaccine has been dispensed by dipshits who are still in their second semester of nursing school just learning how to give IM shots correctly, but people arent even ready to think about that.

Track the conversation. What he said was that he is not asking the question in good faith.

Each vaccine that's been approved is very safe and there's no need to worry about safety with any of the vaccines. I'd recommend moderna since it seems to be the best at protecting you from serious covid infection.

I think this pandemic has made it beautifully clear that public education needs some attention in the future. It's amazing how many people keep coming in here claiming that they know what's going on, when they're just re-blathering the same nonsense that's been disproven over and over again with overwhelmingly convincing evidence. People can't even accept basic ideas about what vaccination is, let alone ask useful and informative questions about it. It blows my mind that people feel competent enough to argue with scientists that do this for a living. Anyone with education on this stuff is listening to the scientists and generally following guidance on exposure and vaccination. That should be a clue to people who can't understand the science, but you guys are filling your heads with bullshit and thrashing around instead of learning. It's such a waste. It's going to be fun to see what the history books say about you guys 20-30 years down the road. None of you can read or write worth a damn, so I assume you won't get a say in what they teach the children about you, but I hope the kids will get to ask why you were all so dumb. I'm wondering too.
