No ones talking about polio here. You can be for general traditional vaccines that have been tested over years and be against mrna vaccines that have a very very short history of use.

Actually polio is a decent comparison. Polio is less deadly than covid. 95% of polio infections are asymptomatic. 1% of polio infections are serious, and about .2% are fatal. The polio vaccine went into clinical trials in 1954 and was implemented and mandated for every child in 1955. The polio vaccine was not designed to prevent infection. It was designed to prevent serious disease. You can still get infected after being vaccinated.

Im not scared of the vaccine. I just dont feel like i need it. And the social pressure of everything telling me to get it makes me not want it even more.

Idgaf. I will get tested weekly. Even though thats just some bullshit to force people to get vaccinated since its obvious vaccinated people still get covid. Still have to isolate. Still spread covid. Still die. Ill take my chances. Been fine so far and went to 23 states this year via car.

If you are at risk. By all means. Get the vaccine. But for the reset of us. Lets is do what we want. Maybe the vaccine will save you. But im not getting vaccinated to save you idgaf

It’s all a fucking act. JSB is your typical hyper masculine male who has to get in bar fights and ride motorcycles without helmets otherwise he feels inadequate. He’s 45 years old and being evicted from his apartment because he hangs out with other irresponsible people who can’t control themselves. Most dudes grow out of this phase in their 20s, but jsb’s maturity is likely permanently stunted.

Nawwww. Im in a low risk group with no comorbidities. Also believe in zinc and vitamin d. Most of the covid symptoms are also symptoms of vitamin d deficiency.

Death numbers are inflated. If you go to the hospital dying of a gunshot wound but happen to have covid they count that shit as covid deaths because according to the cares act hospitals get money for claimed covid deaths.

Im not saying thats always the case but it has been proven in both the usa and canada

Also most deaths are over 60 with comorbidities.

I just got a call from one of my best childhood friend that one of my other best childhood friends died from covid today. I hadn't spoken with him in months. He was 32. Skinny guy. Smoked weed but not cigs. Awaiting further details

Asante's and Kood's prefered educational covid youtuber will probably get an anti-vaxer label slapped on him soon, since he is fully acknowleging the perfectly effective and legitimate natural immunity from an unvaxed infection. Turns out that many (likely too many) of the reported covid hospitalizations are not FOR covid, theyre WITH covid lol.

practically my entire unit is people hospitalized with covid who aren't sick with covid. There's a smattering of old people for whom the covid is definitely complicating their other problems in a noticeable way. But hell I had a 92 year old female patient today who was very sick from a UTI/pyelonephrosis but I could legitimately not tell at all that she had covid.

That's why it's blowing my mind that Delta took out my 32-year-old former childhood friend (had to be Delta bc he was sick for 6 weeks before passing). He literally squeezed in right at the end (fingers crossed). Talk about really terrible luck

That’s been the way it works the entire pandemic. You should have been paying attention.

It’s totally inconsequential when less than 1% of the population has covid. When 10-20% has then there is more overlap.
