People should be able to decide what they do to their own bodies, but only up to a certain point. Because rights and freedoms are inextricably tied to responsibilities and consequences.

It is all very well to keep pushing the rights and freedoms wheelbarrow, and Western society seems preoccupied with this. But the key point is that no man - or woman or child - is an island, entire of itself.

As human beings we are social creatures and social creatures live in societies with rules. These rules are there for the benefit and protection of all, and there are also moral implications in some of these rules.

An extreme example is just because you should be able to do whatever you want with your body doesn't mean you can kill yourself. Or use your finger to pull the trigger on a gun and shoot someone.

If self harm or not getting vaccinated has an impact on other people then it is only correct that personal rights and freedoms take second place to the greater good.

Vaccinations are a public health measure intended to protect the community at large. With the Covid pandemic an individual still retains the right to refuse vaccination but by doing so that choice makes the public health measure less effective.

Your claim that unvaccinated people did not and will not change the outcome is incorrect for the reason that the more unvaccinated people there are the more hosts the virus is able to multiply and mutate in.
