Ok, Why vote for Bush?
    #2752653 - 06/01/04 12:15 PM (13 years, 4 months ago)

Inspired by Stein's thread, I thought I'd ask the same question to the opposing side: Why vote for Bush? The only good reason I could see for voting for him would be to hasten the revolution.

Because we need more quotes like these:

10. At this Thursday, ticket counters and airplanes will fly outta Ronald Reagan Airport.
9. Laura and I will thank them from the bottom of my heart.
8. When you have your own money, it means you've got more money to spend.
7. The benefits of helping somebody is beneficial.
6. We're in for a long struggle, and I think Texans understand that. And so do Americans.
5. Sometimes when I sleep at night I think of "Hop on Pop".
4. I promise you I will listen to what has been said here, even though I wasn't here.
3. And one of the things we've got to make sure that we do is anything.
2. We're making the right decisions to bring the solution to an end.
1. Border relations between Canada and Mexico have never been better.

Because we don't like America

I certainly would like someone smarter than the average Joe in office, as long as they use their intelligence for good rather than for awesome. It's just that the people smarter than average are usually too smart to become a politician

For all those people who used to ride the short bus to school, knowing that one of their own can become president and get re-elected is a great motivator.

Keep hope alive!

To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.'  Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence.  Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains.  Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

A good reason to vote for Bush and not Kerry is because I believe that we'll all be reading the Qu'ran after two months of Kerry being President. Bush is the only man who can save us from the terrorists.
