Bush 10x the flip flopper
    #3117716 - 09/10/04 09:45 AM (12 years, 2 months ago)

Bush isn't consistent on any of his stances. He said he would renew the assault weapons ban and hes not going to. He said the war in Iraq was about WMDs and now he says its about liberation. He said he didn't believe in nation building and now he does. He said he released all of his military records and come to find out, he didn't. He says hes against big government and out of control spending but he enacted the patriot act and has the largest deficit in history. He said that he would fund No child left behind but he didn't. He said that he wouldn't touch the social security fund but he raided it. He said that he would try diplomatic means and try to build a coalition to confront Iraq and he didn't. He said the Iraq war was going to cost 1.7 billion dollars and in reality it costs 210 billion and going up every day. He said the war was going to be payed for with oil and it isnt. He was in such a rush to go to war, he sent our troops into combat without proper training, supplies, armor, or weaponry.
Bush is a bald faced liar and he changes on almost every issue whether its words spoken or actions taken.

I agree with you. The problem is, Kerry, and his campaign are too big of pussies to say all this.

Just a horribly run campaign, in my opinon.

You know, at first, when i heard he wanted to run, I thought he was fucking insane, but ever since I heard him speak in the debates, I've liked him more and more.

He is an AMAZING speaker, and he would beat the shit out of Bush in a debate, god, maybe they can send sharpton in as clinch hitter.

"He said he released all of his military records and come to find out, he didn't."

The news orginizations are saying those are fake. They have analyst.

"he sent our troops into combat without proper training, supplies, armor, or weaponry."

The really dirty parts of the war were fought by special forces and let me tell you they have the proper training etc.

"He was in such a rush to go to war"

If he was in a rush so was Congress. And the purpose of the military is to protect the country in time of war, so it was no surprise to them, they knew the risk when they inlisted.

"He says hes against big government and out of control spending but he enacted the patriot act and has the largest deficit in history."

The patriot act is to fund intelligence. Thank god for that. The deficit is expected to increase in a time of war. And you cant fund every program when the money is going into protecting the country.

They have not been proven fake. Only speculation. Chances are they are real.

The majority of American deaths in Iraq are not special forces.

Quote:

If he was in a rush so was Congress.

Congress was not in a rush to war. They gave the president authority to use force if needed but they did not vote to go to war.

This statement is so full of crap I dont even know where to begin. Our servicemen and women voluntarily serve our country and all they ask is that we dont put them in harms way unless it is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. Iraq did not attack us. Iraq had no connection to 9-11. Iraq had no WMDs. You have such little compassion for the people that died in Iraq.

The patriot act is to give the government more power over our freedoms. Its main purpose is not funding. The deficit was minimally impacted by terrorism as opposed to the effect of the tax breaks for the top 2%. The money is not going to protect the country. We are in more danger today from terrorists and there are more terrorists in the world today than before 9-11. Homeland Security is underfunded because of the Iraq diversion. We could have already dealt with N. Korea, Iran, and Saudi Arabia with the funds and time we have wasted and are still wasting on Iraq. Because Bush has avoided dealing with these countries, we are in an intensely more dangerous situation today than before 9-11.

Listen man, you have no idea what your talking about. I was in Iraq. The men I was with wanted to get that Bastard. There are only a small percentage that didnt want too. Those are the people the news agencies interview. I hate ignorance, so many people are blinded by what they see on the news. If you saw it first hand and you talked to those people you would change your mind. We only know there are more terrorist because after 911 we finally focused on terrorism.
Believe me if we dealt with N Korea, Iran etc. after those wars, you would be saying the same thing.
I wasnt in the military and I am tired of talking about a revolving subject.

I was in the military and the people I knew did not want to be killed in a needless war, however, if they were sent into a war needlessly, the best way to survive would be to support its cause.

I haven't made up my mind on the patriot act yet, but Bush is a big spender even if you ignore military spending. You cannot deny that. I'm sure he isn't as big a spender as Kerry would be, but he is sure as hell no conservative.

How can you be so sure, considering that clinton, not a conservative by any means, brought us a budget surplus?

I mean, I have no clue how Kerry will be, but just becasue he's a liberal, doesn't automatically mean the deficet will increase.

Clinton was more of a fiscal conservative than Bush.

I just fear the Bush Admin.
