Bush's campaign commercial
    #2128332 - 11/21/03 10:19 PM (13 years, 22 days ago)

I just saw Bush's first campaign commercial for the upcoming election year. It shows clips from his State of the Union address, and a screen flashes that says, "some are now attacking the president for attacking the terrorists." It ends with a screen urging viewers to tell Congress "to support the president's policy of pre-emptive self defense." I'd laugh if it wasn't so creepy and Orwellian.

that commercial was not made by Bush

It was made by the GOP.

I have a feeling the commercials that the actual Bush team makes are gonna be much worse.

i was planning on voting bush but i've changed my mind. in most presidential elections, i think i'd vote republican if i liked the guy, and i'd probably never vote democrat... for this one i'll be voting libertarian. i am not pleased with bush at all.

I'm with you on that. I want someone who will actually spend less of my money.

mush and z@z,

I usually vote on principle and forget the whole
'splitting the vote' argument.

but, if you are truly dissappointed with bush and
want him out...a vote for a libertarian really is
a vote for bush.

it's going to hurt...it might make you feel ashamed,
but you're going to have to vote for Dean if you want
to make a difference in this election.

you'll just have to keep on your representative's ass
for 4 years to make sure they 'spend less of [your] money'.

I would much rather deal with Bush for 4 more years than Dean. I don't want Bush in office, but he is better than Dean. I will NEVER vote for a far left liberal. Never.

Dean is NOT a 'far left' liberal. that's kucinich (bless his heart). Personally I want someone who will a) reform campaign financing b) spend less on military and c) reform drug war. only guy who fits that criteria is unfortunately kucinich who can't win. more pluses for kucinich include his focus upon fair trade for the workers over free trade for the corporate owners. but i digress...
