I am not conflicted at all internally. It don't seem right and I can't take it. That doesn't mean I don't recognize that it appears the data is saying I'm wrong. But the data appearing to say I'm wrong doesn't make me question myself.

The confliction is that my internal view differs from those around me.

I've had multiple instances in extremely high risk scenarios with people who had Ill intentions toward me where my gut instinct, feeling, and listening to it, was what saved my ass

One time I discovered a narcissist potentially sociopath, after very limited encounters, he was one of the most intelligent people I've ever met in my life. 

Had an encounter with him, tripped with him and a friend, got a real bad feeling about him. After the trip it waned out, I wrote it off as a bad hunch. Later found out he had abused my friend (a female) and had been using and taking advantage of her etc etc. Not a good person. One of the instances where my gut was right based off basically no info just pure feeling.

I know your gut is sometimes wrong but I can live with being wrong and listening. I can't live with being right and not listening.

In my life I've learned to listen to myself always.
