It's one of the few areas that aren't covered. Questions could be posted in OTD (which is where I posted mine), but... Travel is something most people do a few times per year. People could ask questions about destinations, etc.

I understand that too many forums could be cumbersome and that many subjects fit nicely into other forums, mine is simply a suggestion.

regarding '4 eyed freaks' and 'narcoleptic bastards'... well, after reading a number of posts in OTD I suppose that's an appropriate forum for such individuals  :tongue: (no offence to OTD posters!)

Whereas, you present an interesting idea. I don't think we'll be adding any new forums at this time. The Gathering Forum has some utility in this area, and I would also highly suggest The Pub over OTD for posting serious travel questions, as The Pub moves a little slower, and is less likely to go off topic... :smile:

We have more than 12 non-mushroom forums covering specific areas, so what's wrong with having 2 non-specific forums?

In fact, having 2 non-specific forums reduces the need for additional specific forums, like a travel forum.
