I have been a Floyd fan for 30 years but my son introduced me to TOOL while trip sitting for me during an ayahausca experience last March.
It was fucking incredible, the drummer is possesed. Maynard has a great set of pipes too.
I can listen to pushit off of salival and still taste the brew and smell the crisp March air, LOL.

I know!!! They each seem to be so differant, but when they play together the music is just mind blowing. I Danny is possesed! He has some of the most complicated beats and just wow he's insane.

I think wether you like punk, country, rock, whatever, there will be at least one tool song that will touch you, then it will keep getting better and better.

for sure, Tool is a group of REALLY talented musicians... but for some reason I've never gotten into them. I think it was the videos... their music videos always frightened me so much (that one with the bee.... :whoa: )

yeah,i downlaoded a video off kazaa a while ago that said that prison sex was about the abuse his father used to deal to him. anyway, tool has been my favourite band since aenima came out. i can listen to third eye and feel the world move from under me. and ticks and leeches, damn, my arms going flailing to the drums in that song. its not even a beat. its a percussion orchestra.
