O yes, I love it. I'd guess I've had about 18 or so icehouse brews tonight. Nothing special going on though. I love the warm feeling flowing in my body, and I even enjoy the horrid beer stench of my breath. I have this weird tendency to just keep drinking when I have nothing else going on. If people show up I have a few and enjoy myself, but when there are few people around I find that drinking is a goal-oriented activity to occupy myself with.
I like beer during the week. A couple of beers will just let me enjoy TV, the Internet, or sleep even more. Beer comes in so many flavors from the bitterness of hops to the fruity taste of the more exotic varieties. A nice dark lager feels me up, and a nice softer ale is less feeling, but hits harder with a more light feeling. While I'm a heavy drinker I can still feel the effect from a single glass, perhaps more and more with experience.
During the weekend beer acts as the WD-40 of social interaction. People open up, say things they never mean to say and in doing so become more open to those around them. Problems may come up, but nothing can compete with the interaction between brew drinkers at 3:00 AM. As an open person the worst I can do is come off as non-caring, but I have never felt embarressed or ashamed of my actions.
My biggest problems come from talking about other mind-altering chemicals, or just the world in general. While drinking it never occurs to me that perhaps my companions don't care about the same issues as I do. I talk about war in Iraq, the newest milestones in computing, and about how some guy in another country contracted a super rare disease and brought it to some population center. I talk about legalization and several friends clam up as if I were speaking of murder. To them Pot=Shrooms=Acid=Coke=Meth=PCP=crazy people jumping out of any available exit to death or injury.
In the end I salute alcohol for all of its ability. It makes even the boring events around me seem more important, and the boring people at least somewhat interesting. It makes sleep possible when I have been racking my brain all day on some project. It makes the smart normal, the normal stupid, and the stupid comatose. For this and all else I salute you Beer, the great equalizer.
PS It kicks ass with pretzals!

Sorry if it came off as bragging. I have a high tolerance. Also that was over some time, not all at once. No it's not "cool" to have to drink that much. I wish I could have a six pack and still feel like I did in the past. Believe it or not, I don't care. Make that 1.8 icehouse beers and pretend I'm a midget.

Why exactly is that hard to believe. Let's do some math here. That was over about 6 hours or so, so around 12 drinks would still be in the system. I also ate not too long before consuming said drinks. I weigh over 300 pounds and am well in excess of 6 foot tall. So in theory it affects me half as much as someone weighing 150 lbs, which would have a six pack in their system. Is this unbelievable to assume, considering tolerance? Sorry to rant, just wondered why you would say such a thing unless there was some rational behind it...

I wasn't bein sarcastic. Generally speakin I find it hard to believe, I didn't say that you were lying.
I'm 170 and I've had close to that much to drink in a given night in college, but there's no way I could do that nor would I want to do that now. (spannin an entire nights worth of fun). Heck, a couple years ago we'd put away ten beers after work. I don't know what we were thinkin. Now, I'm drunk after 3 beers and pukin after 6-and am much happier for it.
If you're 300lbs it's all the more realistic.
Even sayin that, icehouse is pissass beer. It'd be tough drinkin 18 cans of that shit cuz of the taste alone. The alcohol content is higher in icehouse. I don't know what it is but it's got to be around 6.5-8 or somethin like that.
Conclusion: After drinking 18 beers of piss ass bad tastin higher alcohol content canned beer makes it unlikely that you could write this post:

i really like drinking beer with pizza. thin crust papa johns pizza. it's so good. i don't think many things are better than drinking beer, eating thin crust pizza, and watching some form of entertainment like a movie, tv, sports game...anything.

Beer is alright, but honestly i'd rather roll a fatty of bud and get ripped, bud last longer, taste better, and wont make you fat, like beer does to people. Dont get me wrong i luv to drink beer, but its not an every night thing. And thats kinda sad if ya gotta drink to go to sleep, or watch t.v.!

Never herd of Coopers here in the midwest US. However, I love pale ales so I'll have to keep an eye out for it.
I love those bottles that are clear until you move them and the yeast is spread throughout the now cloudy liquid. If I didn't know it was harmless I would be a little scared of the active yeast.
