Too much fluoride is too much fluoride whether it's from natural sources or artificially introduced - any bad effects from the fluoride will be the same.

Click below to learn what was found in drinking water in the DC area (and other cities).
You've definately got some little critters swimming around in there.

That's why trinity water is a supplement. We need most minerals in minute amounts. And if it comes from 2 miles deep in the earth; and it's that clean, and tastes that good, I will keep my one bottle a week habit. I'm pretty healthy. But you're absolutely right.

Shroomism you gotta watch out for the worst chemical in tap water. It is called dihydrogen monoxide(dhmo). DMHO accounts for thousands of deaths every year. Someone should post some more scary facts about it.

In this part of the U S no one drinks the tap water unless they're suicidal.
In the state I used to live in they had boil notices when the water had too much bacteria in it you had to boil it to drink it.

My drinking water comes from walmart.

This thread reeks of so much disinformation.

Bottled water is usually just tap water, or ligtly filtered water with salt added.

Salt and a few minerals is what makes bottled water taste so great.

Lack of said additives is partially why tap tastes like complete ass.  Yes,  other additives to alter the taste as well but salts are one of the most pronounced changes your tongue in general digs.

I have a very nice water softner.  What they do for those who dont know, is run water through a tank of salt rocks.  It forms a solution of sorts and all your water gets ripped through it.  Whiel goin through it the other minerals are 'replaced' with salt.  So if you have say 10 flourides, 5 chlorine and 85 h2o, it risp through and makes it 15 salt, 85 h2o.

Not exactly like that obviously, as its a biut more complex on ratios, amount of salts used.. type etc.

Now, my wate tastes EXACTLY LIKE BOTTLED WATER.

amazing!

Tap water in different areas differs in quality. Where I live now, I believe that the tap water's pretty safe, and doesn't taste that bad. I used to live in an industrial town that didn't spend alot on water pufification - and the water tasted bad. I bought gallons of distilled (sometimes drinking, ie. tap) water for $.5 ea. and drank that instead.

I'm lucky enough to live in a city that is on an artesian spring... it pumps about 3million gallons per day, some goes to bottling plants and the rest to homes in several counties... what come into my home is untreated with no aditives... it was tested as some of the purest water in the nation...

I'd recomend a RO filter for anyone on city water and most in rural areas... I've seen all kinds of things put into wells...

soft water also rules for the facts that:

your toilets dont stain as easy
you dont get hard water buildup on faucets/showers/pipes
you use less (way less) soap/degerant/etc
clothes last longer.

the list is huge

Reverse osmosis water is the best (health wise, i dont care about the taste.)

A part of my family is in the water business (bottle sales+deliveries) and I'll tell you, NOT all bottled water is the same. As someone already said, the cheap bottled water you buy at the store is usualy not better than tap water, sometimes even WORSE. (depending on area)
Distilled water is NOT the best, as many people claim.
Its too bad i dont have the little information sheets, but you need a multi-step process to get everything out of your water.
The water we drink goes through a 7 step process, including ultra violet and RO.
The only 'downside' is the lack of (good) minerals that are present in natural water.  But really, you get those minerals elsewhere.

The average tap water around here is between 100-300 ppm.  300 is pretty bad.  I've seen it go up to 450 and such. Its nasty.
Brita is 'ok' if you cant afford anything else.  Average tap water used to test at around 50ppm with brita.
RO water is usualy 5ppm and under.
The water you buy at walmart is probably not that great. If possible, take a sample to a bottling company, and ask them to test the ppm.  Around here, anywhere you go, its usualy $10 for a 5 gallon jug.  The difference between 2, is humungous.
The funny thing is, if you take the time to find a smaller company that does RO water, you can get this high quality water for around $2.50 - 5 per bottle.  These companies usualy jack the price for the delivery, not the actual filtering.

Dont drink shit!
