That is to say, are you voicing your own concern or are you electing yourself to speak on behalf of society?


I am speaking for Democratic socialism and a progressive agenda. That and countries like Sweden and Norway that provide excellent case studies of why this is true.

NSA spying is a thing in America, yet that still isn’t to do with welfare like Medicare and such.

I cannot see a correlation between welfare and the government spying on individuals although I'm open to suggestions or explanations for that position.

When cognitive therapy became popular, it became fashionable to heavily blame ppl for their own depression and anxiety. "Your thoughts are important." became, "you're creating your own misery." That trend is still happening and it's not nuanced or helpful. - Dr. Glen Doyle

There's the obvious conflict involving money, time and space. Freedom is about existing beyond limited, addictive social patterns. The phone, money, car, transaction breaks the mind, fragments and degrades the quality of time. Loud and repetitive questions, with no clear answers. That need for reassurance and promise, with the inescapable troll: "You're here because you need pride, right?" "Didn't meet enough people's criteria, is what I mean."  "Time to go to the gym, don't you think?" "What about that Tylenol, calm you down a bit?"

Here are the thoughts of the evening:

When you share their fears, then they will permit you to share their goals: more acquisition of dates: an attempt to control of time/property. Man is looking for that place to renew himself. But if there's no privacy, then there's no appeal. Each man makes privacy his milestone. If a visitor fails to respect that privacy, if that milestone is not recognized, then hell breaks loose.

Health fanaticism appears as the mask of an authoritarian streak, addiction to power. Wouldn't it be nice to have your own stuff?  Frightened fanatics need you to be afraid of what they are, and if you're not afraid of what they are, then they become afraid of you.

Sometimes what one wants is a break to laugh with the inconvenience. And then there's the punishment inside what seems like a punishment. Deriving some gratification or amusement from what appears to be another grim, embarrassing accident.  Strong natures can be cheerful when others would then insist, "suffer more" or "conceal whatever good feeling is there". We'll get control of this accident later, and not make light of what appears to be carelessness, extravagance, naivety, waste.

There are individuals and groups who deliberately try to make you afraid of the things they are. Newspapers and gossip keep people frightened, distracted, embarrassed, enraged. Attacking with the tongue, pen, typewriter, the calendar dates. Media sharks target individuals to provoke with a well known trigger. That way they can continue offering more "help", more government employees living off of taxes.

There is that serious, heavy feeling that one might like to pretend is not there. The Self is that organism with it's connections to the environment. When the organism is separated from it's old environment, it has to form new connections. When someone blocks your mobility or action, it's difficult to stay on the light-hearted happy outlook.  Man is weighed down and degraded by his sense of possession, ownership, control and his effort to monitor the behavior of others starts to appear as stalking. Self is conflict with the other self. The one, two, three, four, five, etc.

Every human being deserves shelter and food, basic amenities. Injustice would be any attempt to show up uninvited and attempt to influence the targeted person. Abuse would involve discouraging the target from attending to those basic chores and tasks we all need to do to maintain a house.  Predatory individuals can be super-givers, pushing their 'gifts' onto their targets and baiting them into meaningless social situations, wasting the precious time needed to meet adult milestones.

It is a farce in which Marplot interferes in the romantic affairs of his friends and, despite being well-meaning, frustrates them. The characterisation of Marplot as a busybody whose "chief pleasure is knowing everybody's business" was so popular that they appeared as the title character in a sequel, Marplot. The name is a pun β€” mar / plot β€” and passed into the language as an eponym or personification of this type.

I had a first-hand experience with a guy whose career was basically a tax collector for the government. I was teenager at the time, he was in his 40's. I won't tell the story as it would be masochistic/sadistic to do so. In short, a bad, nightmarish experience on a camping trip. The moral of the story: don't ever welcome a tax collector/government guy into your intimate life. These are people who you have to pretend to enjoy being around, and it's only when they're not around that you can do anything worthwhile. Otherwise, you're just sitting around a campfire listening to a guy talking about harems, laughing about it, drinking his beer (he bought it with the tax money) and calling you stupid for asking about learning the word he wants to vocalize and laugh about (harems). He was also denying the holocaust and later getting conned by get-rich-schemes and believing in the latest doomsday fad (Y-2k). Everyone was a loser, bad, a thief, except for him! He also seemed to revel in the fist fights that broke out during hockey games.

Taxation is thought to be indispensable to civilization today, just as slavery once was. Advocates of taxation claim that since most people pay assigned taxes before the guns show up, they have implicitly agreed to it as the price of living in "society." Most slaves obeyed their master before he got out the whip, yet we would hardly argue that this constituted agreement to their servitude.
