Someone posted about this movie somewhere else on the Shroomery recently. The Eames make some nice movies, this being the best known, and probably their best.

The cool thing is that there is an infinite amount of universes within my hand, and that everything that we know as the "universe" is only a small part of an even bigger system, so on and so on...

I sort of wish I still had my IN FLAMES - Worlds Within the Margins signature, it sort of echos all this..

forgive my scepticism. i am just not one to believe things for which i have no proof, nor even evidence...

people used to say, "how can i not figure that the world is flat\is the center of the universe, etc."...

the universe is too damn big, lets just have a good time on earth. the universe is just a huge expanse of empty nothingness that is of no importance to this life of ours.

how about instead of funding NASA lets do something usefull like feed the poor.

i noticed how similar the pictures of space and atoms are. is it safe to assume that if there are little creatures living at that size, they would see huge spaces between the atoms. and it would be virtually impossible for them to persieve the body which all those atoms made up.

believing in infinity, i have to assume that it goes on in both directions forever. I don't know if the laws of nature would be different on each scale, or what, but i think the fallen nature must be a comon theme.

if our stars are the atoms of an ascendent "reality" then i think i see the universe in a grain of sand.
