I'd like to hear someone try freezing a cake solid before extraction.
Would help to break the cell walls, likely liberating more alkaloids.
Ideally, you want to start extracting quickly after thawing begins, perhaps letting the cake thaw in your extraction mix.
Maybe it would be even better to thoroughly blend [w/ blender] a frozen cake, then extracting from the slush right afterward.

ewwww, why not try using a diff substrate or a diff strain, I could imagine that the vermiculite could be a problem, and the idea of drinking all that gunk is kinda gross, case my friend case....
