ive had problems when useing toothpicks, if you use one thats not clean or sterilized it doesnt do good things for the plant :frown: but thanks for the unput

If you cut it close to the node it int hollow. Works for me.

Ok, I just read a salvia growing guide in which the person usually plugged it, but yeah, I thikn its best to leave the hole open, but theres bound to be things living in it soon enough.
