Sorry about Toby. My cat Meatball is my best friend and I don't know how I will get by when his time comes. Nothing is built to last so enjoy it all while you can. It seems that you gave her a good life, a lot of love, and enjoyed her company while she was here and that is what counts! Spread the love and try to stay positive in honor of Toby. I don't drink much anymore, but I'm going to do a shot of Maker's Mark in honor of Toby!

I mean if you can't relate to the loss of a pet then fine, there is no need to fake it and offer condolences you don't mean. But "Look at me, I don't care, how edgy" is just mean and the worst kind of desperation for attention.

Sorry for your loss Tantrika. :hug: Pets are family. To this day, the worst heartbreak I’ve ever experienced was when my dog died.

I'm at the glorious world of magical fun and dreams, aka the DMV. Getting my license renewed.

They got TVs in the waiting area and it's on the "DMV Network". I promise I am not making that up. There apparently is such thing as the DMV channel.

I wonder if it's on Hulu

Here that type of thing is mostly contracted out to private companies that run these "Service Ontario" places. No TV, just one of those scrolling LED light boards advertising an auto wrecking place.

Dude! I had the opportunity to renew my DL and my new plates for a car I just bought all on the phone and by mail! I do have to go to the DMV for my DL next time though.

At Jiffy Lube, they have a sort of channel. Its sorta of a Pic-n-Pic overlay of their services with a TV channel. Pretty cool idea. I wish every business did it.

Just had a stuffed hash brown (hella dank), try to head home and crash out.

Oh man, DMV sucks bad. I have to go soon to get one of those Federal ID things and am not looking forward to it. My place has a couple "sweet spots" that if you go at that time the place is pretty much empty and there is hardly a line.

My DMV has a TV channel too. They advertise local auto collision and repair places, talk about new California laws, and have some California road and public transportation updates.


I ordered fudge from Mackinaw Island and have been eating that all morning. I need some real food soon and I'm not sure what's in the cupboards. Maybe I should go get tacos.

Anybody ever been to Hawaii? How did you like it and what would you recommend doing for a tourist?

I just noticed that my airport has $199 round trip tickets. That price is almost too good to pass up. I bet hotels are expensive though. Maybe I could rent an RV or big van and just sleep in that.

Heck Ya, Mackinac is pretty awesome, especially the island! I like the old school look and that they don't have any cars there. I wonder if they're allowed to have electric bikes and stuff like that now? It's actually been about 20 years since I have been to the city and like 25 since the island.

I used to live right on the coast of Lake Huron, but not quite as far as North as Mackinaw. I liked it for the most part. The best part about Northern Michigan was getting fucked up on the beach and having huge bonfires all night.

We can have fires on the ocean here in some areas, but you're only allowed to have them until like 9:00am. Kind of ruins the fun if you have to put them out when it gets dark.

There must be some kind of catch :lol: Usually its about 700-900$ round trip. I guess it depends on the season. What island does it fly to?

My favorite islands are The Big Island (my home island) and Maui. I really wanna get back to Maui. Some of the best skimboarding Ive ever found. O'ahu is pretty cool but super populated. Kaua'i is nice too, like huge jungle island.
