Im working on a 5S project at work. I love 5Sing. Its one of the best things to happen to manufacturing across the board!

Yerp, well the optic nerve is still swollen and unfortunately there are a million things that can cause that(but we have ruled out brain tumors and any physical mass or lesion or whatever), but I have an old injury in that eye and we're just kind of puzzled as to whether it's a result of that, or something else. Everything else can be explained away by stress, and just being a really forgetful person in general(which might be a symptom if I didn't have unmedicated adhd and a long storied history of forgetfulness).

Dunno if this will work for you, but maybe check out Earnin instead of the payday loan? I haven't used it myself, yet, but it seems like a promising and intriguing idea.

No it's more like memory issues can be a symptom in addition to the eye things. Stress could totally cause the headaches, which might've caused the eye thing. The forgetfulness could be a symptom, but if it is then it's one I've had since I was a kid.

I actually almost had a bit of an anxiety attack the other day because I just couldn't figure out where I parked my car for the life of me at work. This happens to me all.the.time. but I'm so on edge that it's been happening more, and I assumed it meant I was definitely dying from some obscure brain disorder or cancer, and started getting all dazed and upset and I got a mild headache from that alone. My doctor actually suggested I go back on the adhd meds after we confirm that there's nothing serious going on with like the pressure in my skull, because he thinks it'll help me stress less about everything in my life.

Damn, sounds pretty serious Pirate-Blues. Anxiety and panic attacks are the worst. Ive definitely had those moments of not knowing where i parked my car or juet feeling totally lost in a place Im not familiar with.

ADHD sounds like a tough challenge. Get those meds if u need them. Maybe microdosing shrooms would help :strokebeard:

Have been having hella anxiety lately too, even before this bullshit going on right now. Quit weed for now, it got a lot worse this year when I was smoking a lot of strong flower and making kief from it and stuff. And the permafog was making me not want to drive.

Yah. I will. I love how much they help my life, but I really hate the way they make me feel. I really want to see if I can get some actual behavioral therapy that'll actually help too.



And yeah, it has literally lead to my car being stolen - it's entirely possible I forgot to turn it off and left it running and unlocked...it's also possible I just lost my keys nearby, or forgot them in the car...I have no idea tbh, I've done all three multiple times. Do you know how embarrassing and difficult it is to try and explain this to the cops without coming across stupid or on drugs? I got side-eyed hard that day lol.

That sucks. I have a med card for weed for anxiety, but it definitely does not actually help any legit anxiety. Helps me de-stress. But idk, medicating for anxiety can be super tricky, I've always steered really clear of benzos because I know that in the long run it would just make it worse. I think there was one time in my life many years ago where I was getting terrible panic attacks every night that I probably could've used a little xanax, but I did get over it and I got over it for good(knock on wood), and I don't think that a benzo script would've helped me long term.

How's the mental health care up there in CA?

I've steered clear of the docs for the most part so far, perhaps to my detriment. No diagnosis from anyone but to me PTSD would be top of the list. 4 out of 5 of my sisters are or have been on psych meds. Maybe it's worth a shot but I grew up hating those kinds of professionals.

There was one time I had this total freakout and ripped my glasses apart and was punching myself in the head. Got 911 called on me and they hauled me off and locked me in a room for a bit and gave me an Ativan or something. Refused the script they offered, last thing I need is a habit with truly addictive and life destroying shit like benzos. Was offered someone's old supply of Ativan recently and turned it down too.

Weed is something I self-medicated with for sure, knowing full well that it does not really work for me to reduce anxiety in any way shape or form. Kind of a stress addiction scenario. Procrastination is another stress relief method that increases my stress.
