This is bht rust and GATZ cakes. I had both strains on grains and everything took a turn for the worst. I was able to pull out a good grain from the bhtr jar. I lost the gatz jar but had clean lc as a backup. Took everything back to agar, cleaned it up and now I have these cakes going so I can try the slurry in a hurry blender tek.


This is wild ps. Cyan. I started it on agar and then g2g these jars and inoculated an lc. I forgot about the LC and it grew a big snot clump. When I stirred it the LC turned this strange bluish green tint. I went ahead and used it in some cakes to test the LC and what happened I have never seen anything like it before. No myc, just this dark blue black color overtaking the cakes. No texture either, it almost looks like I squirted food coloring.

Its 11... and though I've eaten mushroom chocolate all day,  and plucked and shucked some random second flush fruit, not really any myco going on tonight... just showing the thread and its people some love... keep mushing my friends in fungi

Took 20 transfers tonight and nocced up 2 6qt bags of oats. First bags with the flowhood. I split a gorgeous Melmac LC test plate between both, but I gotgot to wipe the bag down.:facepalm: Cut the top open partially and tossed the wedge in em. Tried to reseal with my shitty 2mm impulse, but I could tell it was still letting air escape so I doubled down with a zip tie. Never tried zip ties before and they didn't seem perfect, but hopefully with both measures in place they hold contams out. We'll see how bad I botched this by New Years :lol:

thats how ive been getting everything organized in my head, reading alot as well, going to focus on pans cause well... ive never grown them
