Well, The Ecstatic is a open borders supporter, so his viewpoint on the issue is basically completely meaningless in the real world. 

The VAST majority of US citizens want a rational approach to the issue, not an out of control free for all.  Yang is using a rational approach so good for him!

Yangs DC rally attracted several thousand people of all different races and creeds. I'm not sure why you are trying to spin Yangs candidacy about 4chan? He disavowed there support. Also going to quote you again so I don't make two posts. "His candidacy would not be possible in the 2020 Democratic primary without paying lip service to those two ideas. Come on." Yang is not paying lip service those two issues higher taxes on the wealthy and more gun laws are crucial planks of his campaign. His UBI is not possible without new taxes namely a VAT tax which every other developed nation has as well as a carbon tax. Those aren't libertarian positions and if you think they are you don't know or understand right wing libertarianism.

Literally my entire yang group is former bernie supporters and apolitical people with a couple former Trumpers this bears out at the rallies I have gone to and my experiences on social media. Your smears are lazy but at least you have moved on from dismissing Yang like you did a few months to spreading lies about him. Also just because someone is not from Washington does not mean they are not qualified. Yang has a good record with his nonprofits and hes genuinely good guy. Its fine if you don't want to vote for him but resorting to lazy smears is not the way you are going to convince me to back Sanders in the primaries.

As I said earlier I don't think his immigration plan is ideal and I don't agree with a few other positions of his. Same with Sanders I don't agree with him on everything but I am not making stuff up about Sanders in order to dissuade you either.

What am I lying about?

I perceive Yang’s intentions to be different than you do. I’m basing my perception on things he’s actually done in his life and you’re basing yours on what he’s said in front of cameras after punching a presidential campaign.

And that’s not to say that Yang hasn’t made problematic comments since launching his campaign, because he has.


Sanders is the working class champion in this race and no one else is even close. Even if you were born on the day the primary race started you’d still have access to the internet to look up each candidate’s record. And don’t get me wrong, I think it’s a good thing Yang is in the race, and his support is a testament to the distrust of establishment politicians.
