I feel like trump may be in real trouble this time. Rudy Guiliani pretty much admitted Trump promised Urkraine better treatment in return for information about a Biden bribery allegation.

So if this situation is what it seems to be... that trump withheld $250 million in military aid to Ukraine until the new government agreed to manufacture an investigation into Joe Biden..: then the democrats have to impeach. This is so beyond any question texttbook abuse of power, using the power of the state to damage his potential opponent. This one is different.

Actually, it doesn't seem to be anything right now outside of make believe... and that's why our reigning king of make believe is all over it!

No.  You can't even retell the story right without make believing.

There was a NY Times link in the Politico story that said Biden himself "threatened to withhold $1 billion in United States loan guarantees if Ukraine’s leaders did not dismiss the country’s top prosecutor, who had been accused of turning a blind eye to corruption in his own office and among the political elite."  So withholding money for corruption is nothing new.

But what is interesting here (from the NY Times link) is that that prosecutor Biden wanted fired was in the process of investigating an energy company that Biden's son was on the board of!

I’m not talking about whatever the Biden shit is. I’m talking about the president of the United States extorting the Ukrainians to initiate a politically motivated investigation.

That "politically motivated investigation" may well have been finding out why Biden withheld money from the Ukrainians to stop their investigation of the energy company his son was on the board of.  Seems relevant, no?

If you can’t see how what trump did is not only illegal, it’s a totally corrupt act.

If it was illegal for Trump, then it was certainly illegal for Biden.  The difference is that Biden was covering for his Son, while Trump may want to expose Biden's cover up.

Here's Biden actually admitting he was going to withhold $1 billion from Ukraine if they didn't fire the prosecutor who was investigating his son's energy company for corruption:

Certainly there has never been a politically motivated investigation before.

I don't doubt biden is scummy.  Worse than we likely know.

So much of the elite beyond who is who, is just how they get things done.  It's tragic how know who and public perception is in the equation.

How Has Joe Biden’s Scandal Suddenly Become President Trump’s Scandal?
Quote:
In February 2014, Biden became the Obama administration’s “point man” on Ukraine. Within months, Hunter’s business was receiving large monthly deposits from Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian energy company.

It is reasonable to ask questions of Joe Biden starting with why did he try to get Shokin fired while he was investigating Burisma? Does he think it was appropriate for Hunter and his firm to cash in on Ukraine while he served as point man for Ukraine policy? Did Biden know about the Burisma probe? (Of course he did.) And does he believe it was ethical of him to use his position to have the prosecutor fired?

Running out of reasons to investigate Trump, Democrats are trying to turn this complaint from an Obama administration holdover into a second Russia collusion case.

If the media weren't owned by the rich, this likely would have ended Biden's campaign.

Ok if that’s illegal I have no problem with anyone paying for their crime, period. In that same vein is the president doing something illegal? I believe they should be held accountable, but it’s the way in which this president does business that I’m concerned about

Obviously and no one I think would disagree we have 2 sets of laws
