insomnia

on the 6th and the 7th I had to stay up to 9am both days, and my sleeps hasnt been the same since, I start lying in bed and play on the computer at 8pm and dont fall asleep to between 2-4am no matter how hard I tried,

4 or 5 days ago I started taking 150mg trazodone, I have about 40 pills left over from 2014 but its not working, I take the pill between 8-10pm and I still dont fall asleep till like 3am, they are making feel like a zombie and making me sleep in 12 hours, last night I fell asleep some time between 3 and 4am and I woke up at 3:30pm,oh ya and they are giving me up&down syndrome

I took my last 1.5 grams of phenibut at 7pm the other day, and it helped make me feel tired and relaxed but I still didnt fall asleep till late, though phenibut dosnt effect me like everyone else, I usually take 6 grams to feel it

I heard the cbt-i can help, but its not offered in my town, they only have normal cbt, does anyone know a good online resource?

I can get triazolam 0.25mg but I dont like taking benzos more than twice a week or I get withdrawals and rebound insomnia, plus my psychiatrist only prescribes 40 at a time and I only see her every 4 months

It really sucks when you need sleep but can't do it

What about tireing yourself out with extra exercising instead ?

Go for a run in the morning everyday, like 2-3 miles. Stop drinking caffeine after 12 PM  if you do at all. Stop eating after 6 or 7 PM. Stop looking at screens and lights after 8 PM, read a information dense book in low light while lying in bed.

try benadryl and/or melatonin. magnesium supplements relax your muscles

I cant take dph, I started taking it a few years ago when I had a bout of insomnia and I worked my way up to 1 gram a night for like 6 months, I was seeing spiders all over my walls and hearing voices every night, one time was cool though, instead of hearing voices I was hearing distorted guitar for like an hour, if I knew how to transcript I could have wrote a song, but I was also getting really bad heartburn so I was drinking baking soda to neutralize it, apples kinda work too

now if I take like a normal 50mg or 100mg I dont even get tired

I use to take melatonin but didn't like the dreams. I did start taking magnesium and never looked back. Works great for sleep and has a bunch of other added bonuses.

I suggest the mag citrate in soft gel form. I always get the highest mg that's available. They don't always keep it all stocked.

it sound wired but the quid of Salvia di vinorum leaves helped me a lot with my insomnia problems back in the days (be careful the leaves not the extract ) .

Trazadone sucks.  What they gave me before Zolpidem.  You can't give advice about such things yet works for me.  Especially when I stay up all night and it really sucks just laying in bed, I know, for hours knowing you are not going to sleep.

Stayed up all night last night and it is nearing 4 a.m. where I live.  Just enjoying my bender and then I will be off the shroomery for 4 days sleeping 12 hours out of 24 during day or night and inbetween. 

Can't do the smelling salts thing.  Tried staying up for two nights after reading about Hunter S. Thompson and how he would go about it and be out for extreme periods of time and then crash for extreme periods of time.  It is not enjoyable.  I know my body well enough when I want to sleep but know it is impossible, and that time is coming but my generic Ambien helps for me.  And I don't take the recommended doses.

I usually sleep around 7 a.m. until my body just has to recouperate.
