Hi Pubbers! Been awhile, Summer is almost over. What is your favorite memory of it?
    #26162897 -

I survived backwood hicks getting lost traveling from one end of Oregon to the other as a vacation when lost on the P.C.T.

THIS IS PRIVATE PROPERTY!  HE IS A BUM!  People rolling on me at night and laughing about the possible violence.  Yeah, that was a low point.  But Portland was A-OK when I finally made it from Ashland to that fucking airport.

Never experienced my feet being this fucked up but I made my fucking plane.  It sucked.  And am guessing some pubbers wish they would of done me in.  They could of.  In the middle of nowhere, lost off the trail, in a sleeping bag pitch black, no cell service.  You can't write a better horror story tripe than that but I somehow experienced it.

Other than that I made it and it was so strange after a 25 day journey of it getting back to society and everyone had a smartphone in front of their face. Being on a downtown bus in a part of Oregon in Portland but to get to downtown is a long way and there is like an inch on the freeway.  Yeah, they let you walk the freeways in Oregon.  Not Cali, no sir.

So going on a city bus and it was rush hour and it was like, what the fuck, how do you people live like this?  It felt so clausterphobic but to each their own.  Wow.  I survived.  And it was my 3rd vacation but the major one.  Is easy in Denver and Austin downtown.  25 days out there, shit.

Hope people have enjoyed their Summers.  Still have a bit but mine has been well lived and have learned quite a bit.  I prepared badly to say the least.

Anyway, share an interesting story from your Summer.:murray:

My summer has sucked a fat donkey dick from beginning to end. Started out with a breakup and ended with my dad in the hospital. Kinda wish I had killed myself last year afterall.

Oh wait you said an interesting story. Ummm... I ate a weird melon? ...Nope, I got nothing, pass

God, I still haven't been forgiven for my response after awhile for that guy to get out of his pity party.

Please forgive me pubbers.:wonka:  Nature does wonders for the soul.:drphil:

Seriously that got banned for awhile.  I learned.  Go to rehab, get better, life is worth living, get therapy.

I should of taken it more seriously, and no he is not dead.  Sad as it is, he moves forward.  Seriously get some help.  I have been to the CRU and Emergency rooms and psych wards long ago.

Then I had an epiphany, grass isn't greener in death...just a strange awakening so I should of taken it more seriously instead of how I responded.

Seriously, I tried to volunteer on a suicide hotline.  Was almost murdered on a summer hike through Oregon by backwood people lost, and now I am here back on my laptop.

Besides that, I learned as I do each Summer out of media and internet and in nature.  Humanity, humility, I made my peace.  Blah.  Seriously when you are lost in the middle of nowhere with no cell service in backwoods Oregon off the P.C.T. and you have people laughing at you at black night, knowing your situation.  You kind of make your peace with God.

I will always be myself, just not so into my life as all that is.:wonka:

Yeah, people on the pub hate the drinkers.  Yet I've done about every drug known to man.  Besides things you do like glue and huffing paint.

Please forgive this man or teen.

Sure, I'll play along.

I don't hate drinkers I just dislike seeing mean-spirited people, like yourself, who suffer from diarrhea of the mouth and talk down to people.  You always talk in such preachy ways to people when clearly you have some deep-seated issues yourself.  Mentally and emotionally.

Also, bragging about doing every drug known to man is a pretty "teen" thing to say, Barnaby.  And clearly your experiences have taught you nothing otherwise you wouldn't come off as such an asshole to your fellow man.

Get your shit together or get the fuck out of here.

The majority of my summer has included hiding out from the sun, or going out with a bandana covering my face to protect it from the sun

so my favourite memory of the summer is prolly just being outside on a warm summer night smoking a pipe, looking at the stars, and listening to the coyotes

for real tho
my need for the bandana and hiding from the sun all summer has been due to getting laser hair removal
had to avoid a tan for it to maximimze effectiveness (my heart goes out to dark-skinned people who don't even get the option)
and in the days immediately after each monthly appointment, had to keep the lasered skin covered up to prevent permanent splotch markings on my face

would argue the laser hair removal to be the best part of my summer, but the enjoyable part is the outcome of multiple sessions, rather than the memorability of any given session having my face zapped

What am I even looking at? Why is anything? Is this anti-gay or something? I legit don't understand what that sign is supposed to mean

Boston Straight Pride Parade took place today
it is quite possible for one of the individuals pictured, that it was the best part of the Summer

Huh, I had no idea it was such a difficult recovery. I've heard it hurts like a bitch

Yo are you seeing that creepy fuck in the red hat?! He's in both pictures, in both he is staring right at the camera with absolutely no expression.

Straight pride is a weird idea. I feel like gay pride is meant to be a celebration of freedom, like how they were oppressed for so long and now they can be open about it. I feel like the big difference is a gay pride parade would welcome straight people, not so much the other way around

So quick to judge.  Not mean spirited, I usually call people in the apartment where I live that.  You spot it you got, said a gay man once that was my closest friend before he couldn't stand me anymore seriously.

I respect him but I don't want a notification everytime he is going to the coffee shop.
You want mean spirited people?

Go to backwoods Oregon or Washington or places off the A.T. trail in the south.  You dumb fuck.  As I was and I am fortunate to be alive.  Now listening to George Baker.  Makes me feel better.

Meanspirited?  Diaper man.

it is more-or-less like having someone snap a rubber band against my face 40 or 50 times; it is annoying and makes me flinch over and over
but as someone who suffers from chronic pain it is a brief nuisance compared to my daily aches

part of the flinching may also be having light-blocking goggles on for the process; sometimes being unable to see and caught up in the unknowing anticipation of something makes it more severe to experience

to my comprehension, will have to go for some sort of laser hair removal on my genitalia in order to facillitate the operation
kind of thinking a sensation like a rubber band snapping against testicles is going to be more of an issue

also also,
figure that if my approval had gotten through for my hormone treatment earlier, the laser would be more painful due to increased sensitivity of skin
am going in for another 6 months of treatment for my face, and hopefully going to get onto hormone therapy sometime in September barring further issues
so may find out the hard way yet
Dx

did not notice him until you mentioned it
but going to chalk it up mostly to him just being present and there being so few marchers to photograph
apparently counter-protestors outnumbered them

honestly, can kind of see both sides to it
in a concrete way the event strikes me as superfluous since people have not really faced historical or current oppression for being straight in the way that homosexuals have

but looking at the rough age of the turnout, would not be surprised if a number of the attendees felt genuinely invisible
being born into all of their personal "issues" being the norm means they have never really had a strong resonating voice speaking directly to their troubles in the way minority voices can create resonance
