Shoebox method (what to do with extra 2 cakes)

The shoebox tek calls for 4 cups spawn (i.e. 4 cakes) into 12 C hydrated equal parts very and coir substrate per shoebox.

I have 10 fully colonized cakes....which means I can create 2 shoeboxes. 


My question is what to do with the extra two cakes?  Two options:

  1) Create third shoebox with half the amount of spawn and half the amount of substrate? 

  2) Or add extra cake to each of the two shoeboxes? 


Thoughts, opinions, advice appreciated!

Make them all the same or close to it,  Iā€™d probably make three shoeboxes and split one of the better looking cakes up between them

yea you could do 3.33 cakes per shoebox and make 3 boxes.

When I had extra i would get a smaller container and make a shoes for babies shoebox. Any smaller container with a loose lid will work!
