Casing or Cakes?

Ok, got a question for you shroomers out there...

I am looking to do 12 half pint jars with vermiculite, fresh ground brf, and PF spores. Which method will produce a greater yield? Casing according to myco fanatic's method (3 cakes broken up per case, 4 cases total Go to www.mycofanatic.com for how he does it.), or 12 separate cakes in a terrarium with perlite? What kind of dry yields (in "ideal" conditions) should I get total (not per flush) with each method? I know I am throwing alot of variables out there, but help me out as much as you guys can.

We did 6 jars exactly like your's. Lil baby shroomies are just starting to grow from the cakes! We intended to try casing future cakes of pf, until I saw a thread saying the pf strain doesn't case very well, it was pretty much developed for cakes.
