Need ID! Found south of Tallahassee Fl
    #26142165 -

Habitat:
Found it in my yard, very little traffic area in the mowed grass that was mowed a little over a week ago. About 30mins south of Tallahassee FL. It's been raining the past few days. It was the only one I saw so far.

Gills:
The gills were already dark, dark brown. (it was not attached in the ground so it was starting to dry already)

Stem:
About 1.5in or so, thin, it had already started turning dark brown, it does look a little purplish

Cap:
Looks like a liberty cap

Spore print color:
Brown

Bruising:
Dark brown

Other information:
Earthy smell, tried a tiny tiny piece and it tastes like a mushroom, it does have a thick veil which is why I'm trying to be sure. I've searched for hours and any of the "look alikes" aren't even close.

Liberty caps wont grow in fl that im aware of.  Your mushroom looks very old and hard to really identify from the one photo.
