I considered joining reddit, that’s how I found out the shroomery was down and recovering from a hack. Not the government coming to get me :takingnotes: I looked at other forums but they were way to nice. Very fake

Yeah I miss slothie a lot.  I talk/meme with her sister most days on facebook.  She comes out to AZ for our gatherings and friend hangouts once or twice a year.

Reddit it also influenced by pop culture way too heavily for my liking. The same memes circulate every couple days/weeks. Stupid catch phrases like "thanks for the gold kind stranger!!", " "Insert name here " is a national treasure that must be protected at all costs. Or every post starts with "black gay trans mailman here w 3 divorced parents weighing in...."  Stupid threads that are shitty puns or poor excuses for wordplay etc. If you do not adhere to these rules, any comment made no matter how poignant will be buried alive.. never to be heard from again.

Reddit sucks now. China Invested 500 million dollars into Reddit.

Now you see post depending in order of "best" instead of "top" and if you change the settings it still shows everything to you desending in best order the next time you visit the site.

Reddit might be full of goof's and gaff's, but the shroomery is where all of the information is at, and if you want to take the hobby seriously. This is where you'll spend your time. Not over at the meme factory.
