Im glad i learned reddit while the shroomery was down because it kicks the shroomerys ass in terms of speed. Its like the shroomery in its prime in terms of the speed of responses and how fast it moves.

i hate it but see ya fuckers later! This place is dead and shitty now and i fucking hate it that it is, but everything changes :shrug:

If only we could go back to 2012 shroomery :sad:

Lol reddit is pretty much for entertainment purposes only. The only good cultivation info on there is made up of direct quotes from the trusted cultivators here.

You know I almost made a lengthy post but lol it's just better here and the site being down made that even more apparent when all that downtime didn't lead any "competition" to fill the void.

You know what I see when I venture outside this wonderful place? 7 year old teks being discussed like they were written yesterday. 0 sense of community etc. Honestly if anything came even close to the shroomery we would all know about it because we are tight AF but that hasn't happened yet and I doubt it will.

I rather have a smaller but more meaningful Shroomery than a mass shroomery that, cough! not to be a jerk, is more like FB Shroomery - more a shallow and mass phenomenon thing.

Of course we have many quite awesome people giving their lifes blood to FB Shroomery to make it run well, but there's a lot of toadstools among the mushrooms here, a higher % than here, where our membership came about in 22 years, instead of months.

The continuity here is cool. You can bump a thread that's a decade or two old and there is a chance that some of the people who posted in it will still be around. On reddit bumping a thread isn't a thing. Plus the downvote button empowers idiots who don't like something someone has written but are unable to make an actual argument against it.

I'm so happy I finally registered an account here, I used to end up here from google searches, and for awhile thought that shroomology was the same site...

Now though, I come here for everything. I like this way better then Facebook for a social media platform, let alone that Facebook shroomery group

idk if it has anything to do with forum style or what, but everything here feels nostalgic and great. This is the 1st online "community" I feel like I have really been a part of other then some mmorpgs (runescape anyone?)

I actually think about you guys, look forward to peoples posts in cult and am just now really venturing into the pub and more open topic areas of the site.

I love it, Shroomery for life  :happyheart:

The layout on Reddit is awful. The general UI is lazy asf and yet the site itself is worth $$$. Add in the snowflake stuff and lack of community and I just couldn't give less of a fuck about reddit. If they just did something with the site and made it less stupid looking to read a thread then it would be mostly good. Same with YouTube, could be a great platform but it's mostly memes and attention whoring because the section for discussion is nearly unusuable. So it's shit. Prime for trolling. Shroomery goes up and down.. every site does. And if shrooms actually ever become legal this site will balloon so much that people will need the UCs just to retain that bit of "community" there is here. Or we will move to OTD and become the cranky OTD nerds while the newbs discuss bassnectar in the pub. It's all the same.

Anyway, if you're here for the activity then you probably don't care where you are anyway. I would consider that before you blame all of us for your inner sadness when you read posts on shroomery.com
