So first things first, I like to talk and share ideas. In fact I make like one really long philosophical/psychological/spiritual/social issues Facebook post almost hourly or bi-hourly, at least over the last month or so where I've been feeling particularly energetic, and mental health workers are always telling me how much I love to talk and how in this case it's a good thing because I really try not to talk shit. I read a lot, I think a lot, very logically, and it makes sense.
Anyway.
I've been really flushing out childhood trauma over the last few months. I am now a completely different person.
I didn't know who I was.
Childhood trauma, in extreme cases, and quite a lot of them are extreme by nature of the event, can cause you to repress identity.
You will live inside the trauma your whole life until you flush the effects out.
Your tough attitude to life? You want life to be tough, because you feel you don't deserve to get things easily.
Your feeling that you have a strong drive despite depression? That's just anger.
Abrasiveness in social life that you think is confidence? You want to hurt someone or hurt yourself.
etc.
You cannot escape childhood injuries, you are not developing, you are not living, it's all in your head and it's all bullshit.
You will find you are generally confused about pretty much everything and cannot set a course, but the anger drives you to do things with your life anyway and you often end up where you don't belong.
The confusion is not only the background semi-conscious question of "why me? Why was I beaten/raped?" but also toxicity in the brain from repressed emotion, and also the fact that with unresolved energies in the body your psyche is warped. Your moment to moment thought processes are warped by presence of the unresolved feelings.
If you're like me, you probably developed a false personality, or several false personalities, during life and came to switch between them randomly and also came to fully identify with them - which is about as crazy as it gets before something like total schizophrenia/psychosis.
If you resolve the emotion you might meet someone else in your mind, someone who has been driving your most effective actions - hopefully there are some - and someone who has everything you need. They are you, who you really are. We are ALL good people, we just get traumatised or lose our way or both, especially in this psychotic modern world. You really are worth a lot and have a lot of originality to bring to the table, whoever you are, whatever your IQ, you are good enough to share yourself with and stir wanted emotions in others.
So.
What's the best way to do it?
LSD Psychotherapy also known as Realms Of The Unconscious by Stanislav Grof is a great read.
Honestly I should say I've only used magic mushrooms for this but they are chemically similar in structure to LSD and have the same psychotherapeutic potential. But I say LSD psychotherapy because there's way more literature on LSD being used in this context than psilocybin and because it's likely many of you know where to get LSD, which may do a better job.
Modern psychology actually has some schools which claims memories are never repressed. That is total bullshit but if you go to a psychologist they may tell you it's unimportant and leave you discouraged. I don't know if this is necessarily true but they may give only some credit to repressed emotions as a concept, and at least they may steer you away from trying to release intense "stored" anger and disgust etc., and instead suggest reshaping your current thought patterns and training you for some vocation that will give you self-esteem. Most likely, they won't help you to release the emotions in the sessions. This is precisely what you need.
So if you know you were abused or you are looking for answers for your depression and anger and struggle in life, look back to childhood and try to understand the simple psychological and development mistakes a child would make after a trauma, and when you get time alone close your eyes and try to figure out what happened to you, really.
And take LSD and look back.
And take LSD and look in your mind and body for tensions.
Then just go for it, however overwhelming and painful it may be. Just forget about how hard it is and just push into it even if you think you're going to lose it or pass out. Just go for it. You will be so glad you did. Break it up into sessions if you have to.
But don't delay. Don't go setting goals and big plans and seeking strong interpersonal relationships etc. before it's out.
You will fuck everything up, everything will carry the taint of your trauma.
---
Thanks for reading. I just wanted to pass this on because it's been MY WHOLE PROBLEM IN LIFE and I want to save other abused children from making mistakes and meandering through bullshit like antidepressants and antipsychotics and suicide.
Good luck if this applies to you. I mean it. If you get it out you will wake up into a whole new level of life and reality and personality that you can't even anticipate from your current place in life. Then finally you will understand the foundations of life that you have been confused about all this time.
