Mycelium wont colonize casing layer: I believe it may be too compact
    #26100744 -

Hey guys, I have a bulk grow going on and I believe I compacted my top casing layer too much. I see very small patches of mycelium peaking through and I am positive the whole cake is colonized. I initiated fruiting for about 7 days now and mushrooms are growing only on the sides. I think it would be too dense to grow out of the top. I'm worried about poor yields and was considering just flipping the whole cake around and seeing if it would fruit without the casing layer. This is my first bulk grow. Any help would be really appreciated.

Seems like the right idea to me.  Looks like nothing is going to come out of the top.

Ive had that happen before.

Awesome, will do! Thank you. I will try to keep it moist and hopefully it will colonize.

They do colonize to a degree. You don't want them to over grow tho.

Chillin' boog. You know how I do.

Yeah, it's looking a lil rough fo sho. Def needs some water. And maybe take it out of the dish and let the side pins develop. Doubt much will come from the top at this point with how fucked it is but hey... some fruits better than no fruits.
