Why was general rating removed?

Seriously I don't get it yall
So now a member can only be defined and given feedback whether good or bad, on their expertise and as a member (in general) based on trade ratings? Why did this all the sudden happen after general ratings seem to me, as, and have been a typical must
Now it will be somewhat hard for a member to start trading, to gain trade ratings when there is nothing to go by as to what people think of the member in general? Ofcourse opinions are far from everything but a mass (generalization) of a member could aid them to begin being trusted for things like the market place, and once again over all.

Im guessing your rating wasn't within the guidelines and was worth removing. Is that why you didn't say what it said in your complaint here?

Uhm no. If I had given a general rating an my rating was removed obviously I would assume it was my fault I'm not talking about a rating I gave vanishing
If you go to give anyone a rating, you cannot even type. You literally can no longer select to give a general rating . It said general ratings have been disabled. And I know it can't just be me, as I've never even given a general rating. I've only given trade ratings in the past. The first time I went to give a general rating (which I've seen the option for many times) Said itself it was gone.
I'm not yelling about a rating I gave being removed like my egos all bruised

Weird, I just left you a rating. Maybe it's something up with your account. Ever been banned from the rating system in the past forgot about it?

It kind of sounds like you're trying to rate someone who has opted out of the ratings system. But this should be clearly explained in the error message; could you copy and paste what you're seeing?

Nah bod never been banned frum it . Just gave you a test rating Y than, it worked I have no idea how. Maybe the person did opt out, but I'd tried in another member recently after and general rating still didn't show as an option.
Yeah bod guess the op was sketch sounding but all my shit sounds like that
Now I'm even more confused than I was before
I was never notified of any ban and I've never been banned from anything on mery.
But hey y'all ain't gotta waste your time digging into it for me, I thought it was a mass thing that was removed from the site and I was baffled giving what it said to me
I'll re trace my steps to the message I'd got n see but hey no biggy I guess

I remember, I was just on a user the first time I seen it. I went to give a general rating and the option itself was gone. Usually the option for general rating remains even if the user has opted out, and when you click it that's when it pops up saying they've opted out
You guys know this shit as well as I but this was different as fuck
The option just wasn't even there and at the top of the page above the shit, plain as day in cold solid blue and white,,
General ratings have been disabled/removed
And so on, in a way that was put fourth the option to do so was completely disabled from the site itself. Maybe I was seeing shit ?
Ah well remains a mystery to me

Sounds like u tried to rate someone who opted out. Ive never done it but i would imagine theres some kind of error message with it.

Yes, there is an error message when someone opts out logic
But this as I've described was different. Nothing popped up, saying theyve opted out of the general rating system which is what happens right after you select to give a gr.
No option for gr was even there, I couldn't click it if I'd wanted to and above the selection shit, there was something already written out that wasn't an error message. Saying gr have been removed in a way that sounded like it was from the whole site
I was sketched so I went to another person and it was the same way
I wasn't banned from it or anything of the sort
I've found no way to give what happened a proper explanation but I'm guessing there is none
