Metabolites or contamination?

Hi, first time growing. I'm using BRF cakes and I've noticed a sort of orange gel coming from my almost fully colonized substrate in 3 of my jars. I've read a little about metabolites but haven't been able to find reference images for quite what mine look like. So are these jars dead or should I birth them with the rest?

That's bad. Don't think you can save them. It's a bacterial problem I'm guessing.
