There is my original post. Today the jars were opened to clean them out and throw the SHIT away.....well when opened a nasty looking brown fuzz was located right on top, of almost all 6 jars.



it is a Dark Brown color, almost the color of potting soil, but fuzzy, etc. etc.

was that underneith your dry verm layer? Did you have a dry verm layer? I've never seen no shit like that before. Kinda looks like one of those expensive instant coffee's. Maybe someone set you up?

that is actually bird seed that was stuck.......the jars had been shaken up at one time.

And i am not to concernd now.....Ralph made it right and sent me a new EQ.

no i did not open them outside, but i did open them in a kitchen to where they could be easily just dumped right in a trash can.
