What do you think of Sudly?

How similar are we online to how we are in person?

I'm curious what some people hear who've seen my posts think of Sudly as a person?

Anonymity online takes away some of our social fears, even sometimes just a screen and being able to type can do that. So what about you lads and lasses? How different do you think you are to how you appear online?

I think I have similarities, but all in all I'm softer in how I pat back ideas I don't necessarily agree with.

I view the internet as an intelligence with multiple personalities embodied in hardware. If multiple personalities can be construed as insane then I view your personality as just another nut-job with whom I couldn't do without.

Sounds from the post as though you are currently a little lonely. Apparently some folks do connect with others offline in the 'real world' after making a connection online. Statistics apparently show those who post a lot on face book are/become unhappier.
What others think of us, is very important for politicians, and teenagers. For guys like Ralph Nader, integrity is more important. If one just wants to be seen, or express oneself, there are probably better avenues than message boards.

I’m curious how I come off unfiltered.

I know someone with 2000 Instagram followers, 10,000 Facebook likes and they post pictures of themselves at various events each week but in person they’re shy and withheld from what I’ve seen. It’s a stark contrast between some people and how they present themselves online.

I’ve heard of Ralph Nader before and I like some of the things he’s had to say.

Well at first I thought you were pulling off an America but patience is a virtue I suppose.

I think I can appreciate in some sort of sense what you’ve said but for me the knife is in the words, “congregation based on preference”.

Am I the same person in a library in relation to the person I am at a rock concert?

I think everybody shapeshifts.

Yeah, from experience I know that "God moves in mysterious ways, his wonders to perform" so anything I might think of may be woefully inadequate, but to give you some idea of my personal outlook I think John C. Fogarty expresses it well in the song Bad Moon Rising.

I’ve honestly had fears that if my own world views were to be accepted by the scientific community and widespread among the populis, we’d see mass Jones Town incidents.

To shatter the dreams of those who so fervently see their god(s) moving in mysterious and wonderous ways. To shift god from an all knowing and seeing entity, to that of the Sun, a life giving time bomb.

It’s hard to digest, but at the same time when Darwin brought forth evolution, many where in disgust at the idea, an abomination in godly eyes.

For me, religiosity and fervent spirituality pain me just as much, but in person I can hold back because I don’t want to inflame dearly held beliefs, but in having my own it’s difficult to avoid, hence having an platform as so has been valuable for it.

When we talk about what soul is, it's so important for me to be right.
I don't care what people believe in their own time, we're entitled not to think the world is a globe, that nothing evolved, that evolution has nothing to do with how we came to be.

I wanted to realise I was wrong, on a few points I was, on the main track I couldn't be.
