I for one welcome the cleansing.

I understand it stings quite a bit.

They promise to make it as painless as possible, so in hopes, we may re-emerge/reincarnate as an Ur-Quan ourselves; not as one of these silly frail humans.

I see insufficient grounds in a few kids misbehaving to roll back the human experiment. We caused too much damage to the ecosystem as it is to suddenly call it quits. We must succeed in spreaduing the life of earth among the stars, for us to pay off our debt.

Mother nature wants to spread to other worlds. We are her trump card for doing that. We can't just quit on that mission.

You can’t just run from your problems asante. If we’re fuck ups here we’ll be fuck ups there. No matter what wonderous sparkly plan you come up with that will magically save us all, the fact is if we don’t take responsibilty and change we will reap what we sow.... and right now that’s death and destruction.

If people fought anywhere near as hard at correcting themselves as they did running from responsibility we wouldn’t have to colonize another planet in order to survive our bullshit. The problem is right here, and the fix is right here.... yet we FAIL.

How can you be in two places at once, when you're not anywhere at all?
